Military Source: Al Qaeda suicide bombing kills 7 Yemeni soldiers in Hadhromout

Mukala: suicide bomber rammed two explosives-packed armored cars into a Yemeni army base on Friday killing seven soldiers, wounding 30 others, a military source said, blaming Al Qaida for the attack

The attack was mounted in southeastern Yemen’s vast desert province of Hadramawt where Al Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) operates

Al-Qaeda which operates Al Mukalla, used armored military vehicles in the deadly Hadhrmout terrorist attacks, the military source added

AQAP has taken advantage of the chaos gripping Yemen to make territorial gains in the south, including the seizure of Mukalla, capital of Hadramawt province
