Yemeni abductee died under torture in a Houthi prison
A Yemeni man died under torture in one of the prisons of the Iran-backed Houthis, after three months of being kidnapped. Local sources said on Saturday.
Obeid Nasser Al-Dhawi died under torture in a Houthi prison in Sanaa, after being kidnapped three months ago from a checkpoint in the province of Al-Jawf.
The Houthis had promised the relatives of the deceased to release him on Saturday, July 27th. However, after they arrived and waited in front of the gate of the Military Police prison in Sanaa where he is being held, amidst procrastination and evasion from the militia, they were informed that he had died about 10 days ago. The sources explained.
Nasser was in good health when he was abducted by the Houthi militia while passing through in Al-Jawf province, and was subjected to torture throughout his detention until he died in the prison.
