Commander of the Special Security Forces survives a terrorist attack in Abyan

Brigadier General Fadel Baash, the commander of the Special Security Forces in Aden, survived a terrorist attack on Monday, when his convoy was targeted by a car bomb in Abyan province in southern Yemen.

Security sources told the Khabar Agency that the attack resulted in the injury of three of Brigadier General Fadel Baash escorts.

Recently, terrorist elements have resorted to detonating explosive devices in an attempt to cover up their defeats against the Yemeni forces, which have managed to cleanse most of the areas in Abyan.
