Landmines kill a Yemeni child every two days
The Saudi Project for Landmine Clearance in Yemen (MASAM) said on Friday that landmines and unexploded ordnance are killing or injuring a Yemeni child every two days.
"This is why MASAM mission is to clear Yemen from landmines and other war remnants". It added.
Government and human rights reports accuse the Iran-backed Houthis, as the sole party responsible for planting around two million different types and sizes of landmines in several Yemeni provinces, resulting in the deaths and injuries of thousands of civilians.
