Trader in Sanaa commits suicide in response to the continuous Houthi extortion

A Trader in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, committed suicide, on Tuesday, as a result of being subjected to continuous Houthi extortion and royalties, which pushed him to the abyss of bankruptcy.
 
Local sources said that the trader Khaled Al-Shami, ended his life by committing suicide by hanging, in his shopmarket north of Sanaa, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.
 
The Iran-backed Houthis impose various forms of looting, extortion and levies, on an almost weekly basis, on all merchants and citizens in the various areas under their control.
