Seven Years Of Yemeni Government Failure
The Yemeni citizen suffers from a terrible deterioration in the living and economic situation in the liberated Yemeni areas, as a result of the continuous economic collapse, irregular salary payments and the absence of a price control mechanism, coinciding with an increased wave of greed for wholesalers with the approaching holy month of Ramadan.
The continuous collapse of the national currency and the absence of the role of the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the security forces opened the appetite of food traders. Local residents in Yemen's Aden told Khabar Agency.
One US dollar in Aden = YR1267 , One Saudi Riyal = YR333.
The increase in the prices of most foodstuffs, especially the people who are used to buying them on an ongoing basis, increased during the last week by a rate ranging between (10-15) percent. Local residents said.
Residents saw that the lack of services, the absence of the government's oversight role, the exacerbation of their suffering, the deterioration of their living conditions, and the successive economic collapse, as an embodiment of the failure of the Yemeni government.
