Yemeni Foreign Minister to the international community: Stopping aggression before making pledges
Yemeni Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf renewed Yemen's call on the international community to stop the Saudi aggression and lift the siege imposed on Yemen
In a statement to Khabar Agency, the Foreign Minister wished the United Nations and the five permanent members in the UN Security Council "to demand an end to the Saudi aggression against Yemen", adding that it would be the best action they will take at the international donor conference on Yemen currently held in Geneva
He explained that "whatever donations collect, it absolutely will go in vain as long as the aggression continues killing, displacing and damaging the capabilities of the Yemeni people, and suspending the salaries of more than 7 million employees
Sharaf pointed out to the international community that "stopping the aggression will allow the national salvation government and the political forces to return to direct or indirect negotiations with the coalition and their mercenaries
He added that the amounts donated to Yemen does not exceed the value of what the aggression spends on Yemen for one day
explaining that "Stopping aggression before making pledges," wondering: How to make donations to Yemen, while, the Saudi fighter jets are still targeting Yemeni land and its people in the same time?
