صنعاء: إبراز الاستهداف الممنهج لآثار اليمن

تدشن وزارة السياحة اليمنية ومجلس الترويج السياحي غداً، الأحد 20 ديسمبر/ كانون الأول 2015، أعمال ندوة ومعرض فوتوغرافي بعنوان (آثار العدوان على القطاع السياحي) بمشاركة وحضورعدد من المعنيين بالقطاع السياحي والتراث الحضاري والتاريخي في اليمن، ستقدم خلالها عدد من أوراق العمل التي تكشف حجم الأضرار التي لحقت بقطاع السياحة منذ إعلان قوات التحالف بقيادة السعودية حربها التدميرية على البلاد.

وأكد وكيل وزارة السياحة الدكتور عصام السنيني، أن وزارة السياحة ومجلس الترويج السياحي، يسعيان لايصال صورة لكافة شعوب العالم والمنظمات الدولية أن التراث اليمني الذي يتعرض لعدوان غاشم يعد تراثاً عالمياً وإنسانياً لكافة شعوب العالم، والاعتداء عليه هو اعتداء على تراث العالم، خصوصاً أن التراث الانساني اليمني يعود لآلاف السنين، وذلك ما أثبتته النقوش والمخطوطات في عدد من المراجع التاريخية العربية والعالمية وبالأخص مدن التراث العالمي كصنعاء وزبيد وشبام، بالإضافة إلى امتلاك اليمن لإرث أثري تاريخي ثقافي يعتبر من أقدم الحضارات وكان وما يزال مقصداً سياحياً متفرداً على مستوى المنطقة.

ولفت الدكتور السنيني إلى أهمية قيام المنظمات العالمية المهتمة بالتراث الإنساني، بالإضافة الى شعوب العالم بالضغط على حكوماتهم للتدخل العاجل لوقف هذا الاستهداف الممنهج للتاريخ والتراث اليمني والذي سينعكس سلباً على الجميع دون استثناء.

وقال الدكتور السنيني، إنه سيتم إطلاع كافة شعوب العالم التي ستتابع الندوة والمعرض المصور عبر وسائل الإعلام التي ستحضر للتغطية، على حجم الكارثة التي ترتكب بحق التراث الإنساني من قبل العدوان الذي تخلى عن كل القيم والأخلاق والقوانين والأعراف الدولية في الحروب التي من بينها تحييد المواقع الأثرية والخدمية وغيرها، موثقة بالصور والأفلام، وكذا حجم الأضرار التي لحقت بصناعة السياحة في اليمن وخاصة تدمير البنى التحتية السياحية وتأثير ذلك على الفنادق والمنتزهات والمطاعم والحدائق وغيرها..

مشيراً إلى فقدان عدد كبير من العاملين في هذا القطاع وظائفهم مما زاد من معدلات البطالة، إضافة إلى توقف الاسثمارات في هذا القطاع الذي شهد في الفترات الأخيرة قبل العدوان ازدهاراً كبيراً، حيث أصبح من القطاعات الواعدة التي رفدت الاقتصاد الوطني بالعملة الصعبة وساهم في إيجاد فرص العمل والتخفيف من الفقر.

Under the title of (the consequences of aggression on the tourism sector), the Ministry of Tourism and Yemen Tourism Promotion Board (YTPB), will organize on Sunday in the capital Sana'a, a Seminar and photographic exhibition, during which a number of worksheets will reveal the magnitude of the damage to the tourism sector since the coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia has announced its destructive war on Yemen.
The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Dr. Essam Al-Sunaini, has clarified that through this seminar, in which the Ministry was keen on the participation of the private sector and all those interested in tourism and heritage, Ministry of Tourism and YTPB are seeking to convey an image to all peoples in the world and international organizations that the Yemeni heritage, which is exposed to a brutal aggression, is a global humanitarian legacy for all nations in the world, and assaulting it is considered as an attack on the world heritage as whole, especially that the Yemeni humanitarian heritage is dated back to thousands of years as found in manuscripts and inscriptions stated in a number of Arab and international historical references, especially World Heritage Cities like Sana'a, Zabid and Shibam, in addition to the historical archaeological and cultural heritage that Yemen owns as one of the oldest civilizations, which still a unique tourism destination in the region.
He pointed to the importance that, international organizations of relation to humanitarian heritage, as well as the peoples of the world to urge their governments to intervene immediately to stop this systematic targeting of Yemeni history and heritage, which will reflect negatively on everyone without exception.

Dr. Al-Sunaini assured that, through the wide media coverage of the seminar and exhibition, we will reveal to all people around the world the real magnitude of this disaster committed against Yemeni humanitarian heritage by aggression, which gave up all values, ethics, laws and international norms in wars including the neutralization of archaeological and service sites, and all that is documented with pictures and video, as well as the magnitude of devastation caused to the tourism industry in Yemen, in particular the destruction of tourism infrastructure, and its effects on hotels, parks, restaurants .. etc.
Also, he pointed to the loss of a large number of employees and workers in this sector of their jobs, increasing of unemployment level, in addition to the stopping of investments in this sector, which has witnessed a great prosperity before the aggression, as one of the promising sectors that supports the national economy with hard currency and contributed to the creation of employment opportunities and alleviation of poverty .
