UN sources: Houthis create other rumors to evade the issue of the floating ship off Yemen

Two UN sources denied, on Monday, that the United Nations had put pressure on the Houthi group by stopping the payment of salaries to employees in their areas of control.

In statements to Khabar Agency, the two sources confirmed that the Houthi group creates other rumors to evade the issue of the floating ship off Yemen (which they described as the time bomb), as the group still refuses to allow United Nations experts to inspect and repair the ship despite their approval.

The Houthi militia had claimed that it had received an offer from the United Nations and the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia, which included "the release of the detained oil ships in exchange for stopping the payment of salaries to employees in their areas of control."
