Houthi militia are digging vast network of tunnels in different areas of the capital Sanaa, under the supervision of Iranian and Hezbollah experts. Local and security sources revealed to Khabar Agency

The sources that the Houthi militia are digging a network of tunnels extending from the Iranian embassy, into the south of the capital in the neighborhoods of Al Khamseen and Bait Baous

Local residents living in the neighborhood next to the Iranian embassy in Hadda neighborhood confirmed they were constantly hearing the sounds of digging and shaking under the ground. "When we were trying to recognize what was going on, we were intimidated and threatened by Houthi militia" said one resident, in a telephone call with Khabar Agency

He pointed out that they periodically watch empty trucks entering the Iranian embassy and coming out loaded with dust

The militia also have dug a network of tunnels north of the capital extending from Al-Juraf district into Sanaa International Airport

The sources explained that the tunnels that are being dug by the Houthi militia, occurred at a depth of about 5 to 10 meters under the ground

They pointed out that the tunnels used by the militia in the accumulation of weapons, as well as to hide from airstrikes

The militia dug similar tunnels linking a number of government facilities and residential buildings in the city of Hodeidah
